Loreta started Above Average with the purpose of helping responsible businesses cut through the noise of climate change activism, navigate through the multitude of sustainability frameworks, and build realistic, manageable, future-fit sustainable business strategy, considering emerging consumer trends, supply chain initiatives, national and local government policies, and latest green technologies.

After 12 years in the consumer market research industry, working with FMCG manufacturers, food & drinks wholesalers, and independent convenience retailers in the UK, Loreta accumulated a wealth of FMCG value chain, consumer/trade marketing and social corporate responsibility knowledge. More recently, she acquired Associate Member status at the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) focusing on climate change, net zero strategy and sustainble business consulting.

Judge at the Retail Industry Awards, speaker and panellist at Convenience Leadership Programme (Surrey Business School, University of Surrey), Association of Convenience Stores (ACS), and Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD), Loreta is passionate about smaller agile businesses with purpose, economy that works for everyone, responsible and compassionate society, future of work, personalised nutrition, and preserving the abundances of our planet for future generations.

The latest PricewaterhouseCoopers' findigns show that the UK is on the leaderboard in adopting UN's Sustainable Development Goals.  91% of the surveyed companies in the UK mention SDGs in their reporting compared with 72% globally.

British Retail Consortium (BRC) announced their NET ZERO ROADMAP FOR THE RETAIL INDUSTRY (Climate Action - SDG No13) earlier this year, taking with them major grocery and foodservice chains including Coops, Musgrave and Spar. 

Students at Oxford University have voted to ban red meat from university-catered events and outlets in a bid to shalsh the university's carbon emissions by 50% before 2030. Passed with 31 votes for and 9 against by the student union, the new motion supports Climate Action and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG No12).
